What is the effect of a short circuit in the keyboard plug on the motherboard or other parts of the system? Due to the damage to the plug the pins got shorted and now the computer works OK except it does not recognize keyboard. I tried with other keyboards that work OK on other computers but no success. Can repairs to this problem done easily or should I contact some repair service? I can not (temporarily) receive any news or mail through cmcl2 so please send email to marob!panix!yanek
