HI everyone, I recently bought a SVGA card using the Et4000 chip and it seemed to have problem to co-exist with my adaptec acb-2310 MFM controller The problem was that the SVGA card kept thinking that I had a monochrome monitor. I could not get any color at all, even though i had a multiscan super vga COLOR monitor. I bought a new controller card and now everthing works fine. Now I would like to get rid of my old card. Before I sell it to anyone, I would like to make sure that the controller is not defective but simply not compatible with my VGA card. In other words, if another person who does not have the same Vga card I have, he should be able to use it with out any problem. Does anyone have the same or similar problem with the Adptec ? I tried to play with the jumpers on the card, but did not help. The card worked fine with my old EGA car and my hard drive. I would like to find out what actually caused the problem before selling(or giving) it to someone. Thanks yhChung
