I have an AT bus, 386 SX machine and I am looking to buy a FAX card for it that will allow me to send/receive from group III fax machines. I'd like some suggestions/ recommendations from those of you that have played with one or two of these beasts... Prerequisites are that it has to send/receive group III FAX, run in the background (i.e. receive FAXes while I am doing other things on my machine), produce reasonable results in a reasonable format that I can look at with Word for Windows or some other method, and it should come with some useful software. It would also be great (tho not required) if the software ran under Window 3.00. The FAX card that I am leaning towards is The Complete FAX, from The COmplete PC Company. It covers all the prerequisites, but does not run under windows. (Well, it runs in a shell window, of course.) Does anyone know any pros/cons to this system? Know any better ones? (I have seen the Complete FAX for as low as $129 for mail order.) I am looking to buy soon, so any advise would be appreciated. Please mail your responses to either of the e-mail addresses below...if there is enough interest, I'll post the results. (Also, if this has been talked about before, my apologies.)
