An open query to all you net.travel readers: I'm planning a trip to the White Mt. National Forest Area this summer and am looking for any and all info, advice, warnings,..., anyone may have. Specifically, I am aiming for the Franconia notch area, probably in July, with my wife and 18 month old son. We are NOT going to camp, but rather are looking for some appropriate lodging (i.e., appropriate for the care of a young child, and someplace with enough activities to keep all of us happy without ALOT of travelling about.) We have looked into a couple of places, and if anyone has specific info on these, please let me know. They are: The Inn at Loon Mountain, and Lovett's (Inn?). I'm trying not to be otherwise too specific about my query since I'd welcome all responses from 'netters'.
