Evening Peoples. The other week i posted a letter asking for info on IDE hard disks. I found that these disks are rather intelligent, and will operate by simply sending then data via a couple of 245 bus transceivers. What i am after this time is information on these drives. Like what codes are used to control them, how they are enabled. etc. Basically i wish to interface one and use custom firmware to control it. I need to know interface info and what sort of firmware required to make it go. anyway, thanks to those who wrote in before, you info was greatly appreciated. thanks in advance steve h
