I have acquired an old Maxtor hard disk that was formatted very differently from the MSDOS PCs I have, and may also be completely hosed. In order to find out, I have to start over, with a low-level format. To do this, I need to know the specs on the drive. None of my reference material lists this drive. It's a: Maxtor XT 1050 - 47 MBytes 5 1/4" Full Height Does anybody have the vital statistics on this (Heads, cylinders, sectors, etc)? According to the fault list, it's got at least 5 heads and 750 cylinders. Thanks in advance.
