I've been having this problem for a while. My Suntac 286 motherboard, running PC-DOS 3.3, sometimes set the date back to Jan 4, 1980. I didn't pay much attention to it. But today, I borrowed my friend's copy of CheckIt to check out my machine. So, I checked the Real-time Clock. CheckIt says the Real- time clock is different than the DOS clock. The Real-time Clock has the right reading and the DOS clock has Jan 4, 1980. What is the different between the Real-Time Clock and the DOS clock? Is it because I am using PC-DOS instead of MS-DOS? Does anybody know how to fix this problem? Thanks in advance. -Felix UD157912@VM1.NoDak.EDU UD157912@NDSUVM1.BitNet
