[comp.sys.ibm.pc.hardware] Documentation for an old Mote Carlo Card

tc@xrxedds.UUCP (Thomas R. Corbin) (05/09/91)

I'm posting this for my brother in law. He has
a Monte Carlo multi-function adapter card. Microcomputer Business Industries
Corporation (MBI) developed this card and has gone out of business.
Mark bought a card from this company years ago and installed memory chips on
this card. few months ago, Mark had to take the old PC in for repairs. The
PC repair shop removed the memory chips, period. The memory chips were not
reinstalled. Mark spent the last two weekends trying to get this to work.

The Monte Carlo card is a 5-function card with the following functions:

- 64K - 1MB memory upgrade
- Parallel Port
- Async comm. port
- Clock
- Dual port Joystick Interface

Mark is looking for some form of documentation on how to get the
memory back in, so if anyone has documentation and would be willing
to provide a copy, if you could reply by mail to me at uunet!xrxedds!tc,
I'd appreciate it.
