[NOTE: Message modified on 10 May 91 09:02:05] Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! At the Dayton Hamvention I purchased a used 386DX-20 Mhz processor and memory card which require a passive backplane to function. The processor card contains no memory and is attached to the memory/keyboard card via two ribbon cables. The memory card can handle up to 16MB of simms. The processor card contains a CHip and Technology chip set, Award 386 Bios v3.04DS1, and a large (~40 pin) chip with an intel mark and a tag which reads Sigma Designs 2.62. On the back of the processor is a tag which reads CPA-3 8-BTB20 ( I think, I left the paper at home(dumb)). What I need is help in determining who manufactured the boards, when I got them they said that they didn't come out of a zenith, so that I can try to get some documentation on the necessary connections. Also, I have them installed in a chasis an receiving power. They come up and the display indicated the POST was working. But alas, I cannot get the system to recognize the keyboard. I have tried two keyboards without success. The keyboards are getting power and cycling (indicators flashing, etc.) but the system does not recognize them. Any help that anyone can render will be appreciated. thanks......
