I recently bought a 386/25 computer with an ATI VGA Wonder+ and CTX 3436 Multisync monitor. I am very pleased with this system until 3 days ago. While working in the DOS-Prompt i noticed that all the white letters turned slowly into yellow. After a while it returned into white letters again. According to my brother, who worked with Autocad, he noticed that at a time a color disapeared, but unfortunately he didn't know what color it was, because it happened so shortly. I assume it was the blue one, because in the text mode the text went from white to yellow and that could happen if the blue color is vanishing. This problem occurs not frequently and sometimes it works fine for hours and then starts to turn into yellow text again. The graveness of the problem varies in time. My first guess is a DAC malfunction. Does anyone know the source of my problem? Thanks in advance, Stefan Sinnige sinnige@fwi.uva.nl
