[comp.sys.ibm.pc.hardware] ...Need Suggestions For Internal 2400 Baud Modems...

kevin@voder.nsc.com (05/10/91)

I think the title pretty much says it all. I'm looking for a 2400 baud,
internal, Hayes-compatible modem for my 386 AT clone. I have a 1200 Avatek
but it seems to have occasional line noise problems. The less money the
better, of course, but I want a good one, not just a cheap one.

Take a look at the Zoom Telephonics 2400. You may even want to
consider certain MNP/V.42bis options that they have; They're well
worth the money. As far as ordering goes, I have had good luck with
midwest micro.
