I am new to this `USENET' stuff--if I've done anything terribly ignorant, blame "UNH Computing Services" for not supplying me with proper documentation rather than me (or blame us both, if you'd prefer). Anyway, could someone tell me how a mouse driver interprets the bytes coming from a serial mouse. I don't know just how common this information is, but I can't seem to find it. It can't be any big secret, and it doesn't seem as though it should be too complicated. I have watched the bytes come in on the screen as I moved the mouse about -- couldn't really make head nor tail of it. Thanks in Advance. chris aldrich --I prefer EDLIN to VI, but don't hold that against me. cma@unhd.unh.edu
