Ok...I'm almost ready to buy a 486 system -- 486-33 with possible EISA architecture, but if its too expensive I'll settle for ISA. I'd appreciate any Email about good deals or bad deals you've gotten on a 486-33. (If its bad net manners to ask for best deals, then please ignore.) I've also got some questions: ---What is a good Landmark value for a 486-33? or MIPS value? It seems everyone uses landmark to judge a system, but I've been used to comparing with mips. ---Also, I've heard the 486-50 is coming out soon? Does anyone have one of these power machines and would like to comment on it? One more...honest. ---Whenever I call a dealer they tell me that the motherboard they use is 6 layer or sometimes they say 8 layer. Apparently, 8 layer motherboards are better, but are they really worth extra money? What difference does 2 layers make? Longer life span? Any and all comments are appreciated! Thanks...
