[net.travel] Club Med or Caribbean/Mexico Info WANTED

I'm thinking of spending a week at a Club Med this May.  Likely
candidates are Cancun (Mexico), Martinique, and Caravelle 
(Guadeloupe).  I would greatly appreciate any advice, especially
regarding these questions:

  1) How's the weather in May?  Is late May too warm?  

  2) Any suggestions on which club to go to?  (It doesn't have to
     be one of the above.)  Priorities (these are all important) are:

     - fun, interesting, young (20's) people
     - water sports
     - good swimming and tanning in May
     - general facilities/environs
     - good food 

  3) Any other tips?
