I am expecting big bucks to come from Revenue Canada shortly :-). I want to buy the biggest and best IBM compatible system I can. I would like to keep it under $4,500. I do want a 386/33Mhz(or better), 200+ drive, multiple serial ports and game port (I am into amateur radio and need all I can get(3 or more), use SVGA on a 20" or larger monitor (I am visually impaired). Any suggestions? I am so confused by all the info I have read. I can only find about 4 manufacturers of 20" or larger monitors (NEC 5D,Philips,AAMAZING to name three). I also want at least 4 meg of RAM in a mini tower case. I would also like it to easily handle multitasking (including downloading at high speeds). Any thoughts on what you would buy and where? I would appreciate hearing from you about your experiences. I need serious recommendations about the monitor. The only 20" monitor I have seen is an older NEC model. I also want it to be compatible with other systems. I don't want problems with that. Please e-mail me with your suggestions.
