I'd like to have a system with say 3 or 4 hard disks and maybe one of each style floppy (720K, 1.2, 1.4, etc). Just to complicate things further let's add a tape backup system too. What would you use for controllers in such a situation? Can you have more than one hard/floppy controller in a system or would you look for the controller that has the greatest number of ports available? Can it be supported in unix and dos?
