I have an IBM 4019 laser printer with the 2MB RAM upgrade and the PostSCript option board. I want to hook it up to an OS/2 LAN Manager network to be able to operate in BOTH PostScript mode and in HP LaserJet emulation mode. I know the hex codes to switch it from HP mode to PostScript. What I do not know is the PostScript code to put the printer back into HP mode. I know that the code to go to IBM native mode is a line in a PostScript program which reads "11 setsoftwareiomode". But I haven't been able to discover the code to put into HP mode instead of into IBM mode. I tried going to IBM mode, and switching it from there into HP mode, but it doesn't work, since the printer needs 30 seconds of reset time between mode changes or it rejects all but the first code. Any suggestions? E-mail responses to me if you can. --- David Charlap (cd5340@mars.njit.edu) -- David Charlap "Invention is the mother of necessity" cd5340@mars.njit.edu "Necessity is a mother" Operators are standing by "mother!" - Daffy Duck
