Here is my problem: I have an Adaptec 1542B Host Adapter installed in my computer. It is connected to two internal Conner hard drives (ID=0, ID=1) which are under the control of the 1542B BIOS. Externally, I have a TEAC 150MB Tape drive (ID=2) and a Bernoulli Dual 44 (ID=3). Using ASPI4DOS.SYS and APSIDISK.sys, I am able to use these devices EXCEPT that only one of the two drives on the Bernoulli box (LUN 0) is recognized. I realize that for the second drive to be utilized, I should use the /L option for ASPI4DOS.sys. However, when I do, the system "bombs" after executing the ASPI4DOS.SYS command in my config.sys file. Specifically, if I use the following config.sys file: FILES=30 BUFFERS=10 STACKS=0,0 DEVICE=c:\scsi\adaptec\aspi4dos.sys DEVICE=c:\scsi\adaptec\aspidisk.sys everything works great. If I add the /L qualifer to the aspi4dos.sys command, the system executes the command and then states "BAD or MISSING c:\scsi\adaptec\aspidisk.sys" Since I have renamed my autoexec.bat file, the system prompts for the Date and Time and I am greeted by the C:\> prompt. However, at this point, nothing on the system is available. If I do something simple such at c:\> type autoexec.old I am greeted with a string of bell, whistles, etc.... Attempting to run any executable hangs the system. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Does anyone have a clue as to what is happening and if this can be fixed? =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= My system is a Tandy 3000NL (10 MHz, 80286) running MS-DOS version 5.0 Beta.
