Fujitsu (drive original poster was asking about) and HP both have 5 year
warranties on their drives.  Fujitsu puts this in their advertisments
along with their MTBF.  I am taking the word of a few netters about HP's
5 year warranty.

Like Thoreau, I rejoice that there are owls.  Part of the reason is that
