Well, it's upgrade time again. I am in the market for a new SuperVGA card, preferably one that uses the Tseng ET4000 chipset (this chipset can generate up to 64K colors at once with a 24-bit DAC). Besides the fact that this is one of the newer chipsets on the market, I also have a software package which takes special advantage of the features of the ET4000, so that's why I've narrowed my choice down to this one particular chipset. So, which VGA boards are designed around this chipset? Unfortunately, most magazine ads don't say which chipset the board uses, and I don't have any review articles handy which would give me that information. So, if you know of one or more SuperVGA boards which use the ET4000, would you drop me a note via email? I'd appreciate it very much.
