By an incredibly twisted and vindictive turn of fate, I have in my possession the following items: 1 385-DX/20 PC 1 Priam harddisk (a V185 I think) (ST506 interface) 1 WD1003V-MM2 harddisk controller 1 Set of instructions for a WD1006 (NB 1006 !) Question 1: Can I use the above hardware to obtain disk storage on my machine ? Question 2: What do the settings on the card do and what settings should I use ? The explanation of how I came to have the above collection of items would be quite amusing if it wasn't so damn annoying. I may post the full story to rec.humour some time.
