Last week I posted a request for SuperVGA boards which use the Tseng Labs ET4000 chipset. Over the weekend I've received many helpful replies. To save space, I'm posting only the names of the boards mentioned in the responses. In most cases, the boards are similar: all seem capable of 1M of memory, and can do at least 1024 x 768 x 256. One interesting note: In my original post, I neglected to mention that I also needed a standard IBM feature connector (the flat card-edge type connector) - yes, I actually have a piece of hardware which makes use of the feature connector! ;-) Silly me, I assumed that just about every SuperVGA card on the market would have a "standard" feature connector. Much to my dismay, I discovered that a great many SVGA cards do NOT have a standard feature connector. Instead, manufacturers such as Diamond, Boca, and Orchid stick a funky DIP header connector onto the card instead. Unfortunately, this makes quite a few of the cards out there useless to me. It just goes to show what happens when you assume... Anyway, here's the list I've compiled so far: STB PowerGraph ERGO-VGA (a.k.a. EM16+) Everex Viewpoint VRAM Diamond Speedstar Diamond Speedstar Plus GTK (no model information given) Swan (VGA Palette Plus?) Tseng Labs MegaEva/1024 VGA FullHouse Prisma VGATOP 1024 (or something like that) Boca SuperVGA Orchid ProDesigner II Orchid ProDesigner IIs Sigma Designs VGA Legend --- If there are any significant additions or corrections, I'll post an updated list. Thanks to everyone who responded.
