I still have one of the original Compaq Portables, and would like to install 640K directly on the motherboard. I bellieve that, in addition to replacing the 4164 memory chips with 41256s, I also need a different PAL chip to address the memory. Anybody know exactly what I need/where to get it? Thanks.
