Has anyone had experience using this BIOS in a 386SX machine? I have version 3.05.05 running in a new machine and have encountered a problem when attempting to create a macro with ArchiveXL-80 tape software. The exact same software (DOS,tape software, etc.) is loaded on various other machines, and I cannot produce the error anywhere except for the machines with this BIOS. When attempting to play back the macro, the system locks up and starts an endless series of double beeps requiring a reboot. Could a different BIOS cause a problem like this? I called the computer manufacturer and they told me that this BIOS is up to 3.05.06 and they are sending me the latest chip. But at this point I am not really sure what the problem is.
