[comp.sys.ibm.pc.hardware] Help! Need TRIDENT VGA mode switching program

u9hx@vax5.cit.cornell.edu (06/20/91)

I have a trident VGA card (8800 chip I think) that came with my computer, but
without any drivers or manual. I am in need of the mode switching utility that
usually comes with the vga card, because I have a program that runs in hercules
only mode.

Does anyone have the trident mode switching utility that they would be willing
too uu/xxencode and send to me? Or does anyone know trident's bbs/tech support
number that I could call and dload the program?

Any help would be really appreciated!

Thanks,
Stephen

I have setmode programs for Trident, but unfortunately they are for an 8900
not an 8800. However, I do have Trident's address/phone:
