Hello netlanders! Is there anyone out there using a Soundblaster board who has hacked the volume control so that volume can be controlled externally from further away? With my monitor on top of my computer, it's a royal pain to reach around the back each time I play a different game, since each game seems to have different loudness levels. I'd like a solution where I don't have to spend too much time with a soldering iron near the board :-) Alternatively, is there a way to do something with software that will let me "taper" the volume if I'm going to start a game that I know tends to be a little loud? Thanks in advance for the help. -- ===================================================================== Mike Sintchak Molecular Biophys. & Biochem. -- Yale University oxalis%friedel@venus.ycc.yale.edu, sintchak%hhvms8@venus.ycc.yale.edu
