[comp.sys.ibm.pc.hardware] Has the Price of Coprocessors Gone Down?

noring@netcom.COM (Jon Noring) (06/27/91)

Hello,

I read the tail end of a posting implying that Intel subtantially lowered
the price of all of their floating point coprocessors. Is this true? How
much lower? Has Cyrix and the other competitor(s) done the same?

Thanks.

Intel has made big cuts in their coprocessor prices. I bought a couple
of 80387SX-16 chips last week for $129 each.
