I'm considering purchasing a sound card for a 486/33 ISA machine, strictly as a cheap thrill. Can anyone point me to some FAQ or info sheet that will help me get up to speed with the various vendors' products (Adlib, Sound Blaster, Sound Master, ...) and the technology in general?
