I have a Cheertron 386/SX-16 motherboard, and about two months ago, I noticed that the time on my clock was always slow. After observing it for a while, I notice it loses in excess of one hour per day. The timing change did not seem to occur with the addition of any peripheral cards to the system, but for the record the following cards are installed: Microsoft bus (INPORT) mouse adapter (8-bit) Colorado tape drive adapter card (8-bit) Data Technologies 6280 ESDI HDC/FDC (16-bit) Orchid Prodesigner II SVGA adapter (16-bit) Creative Labs SoundBlaster (8-bit) Generic multi-function I/O card (8-bit) If someone has had similar problems or can suggest possible causes and/or solutions, please e-mail me; I will post a summary if there is interest. -- __________________________________________________________________________ Andrew J.
