[comp.os.msdos.programmer] Microsoft C 6.0

I recently got my upgrade forms to go from MSC 5.1 -> 6.0. The
marketing that Microsoft did was rather poor; that is, it didn't entice
me to send in my $125. I'm a student, and I don't have a lot of money,
and in addition Microsoft didn't even detail any of the advantages of
upgrading. They didn't list any new features. They didn't list any bug
fixes. So ...

Can anybody on the net try to do Microsoft's marketing for them? What
new features (other than ansi-trigraphs) are added? What bugs have been
fixed? Is the compiler faster? Does it do better optimization? Is
there an improved run-time library? Why should I upgrade?
