I would appreciate it very much if anyone could help suggest some
"out of the way" quaint hotels, etc., in Ireland (coastal) and
in west England.

Also appreciated, suggestions on best airtravel. Can any package beat
Peoples Express Newark to London ($l60) each way.

Having spent two weeks of April '83 in England and Wales, I believe
that the best places to stay (if you don't all ready have friends
or relatives there) are the B&Bs (bed and breakfast's). They are
typically very clean with good breakfasts and quite often the
hosts/hostesses are very personable so one gets to know the natives.
And, compared to most hotel prices, are incredibly inexpensive.
You can check the places out before you decide to stay and don't
be afraid to say *No thank you, this isn't what we're looking for*
if it doesn't appeal to you. My wife and I never had to do this,
but my folks (who travel much more than we) have two or three times.
