I'm currently using a package called Chatterbox for menuing and data entry, working under MSC 6.0. It works in graphics mode, and utilizes the new 6.0 calls _registerfonts() and _outgtext(). The single font file they supplied just doesn't cut it... it's too hard to read. Does anybody know of any other fonts available for use with MSC6.0? (I need fixed spaced fonts, not proportional.) Also, I would like documentation regarding the format of the font file used by 6.0. Naturally, the Microsoft documentation is quite lacking in this area. (A MS tech person told me the info should be available in an update to 6.0 sometime in september, BTW) Does anybody out there have the information? I could right a simple font editor, and possibly clean up the worst of their characters. Contact me via email or by phone (listed below) if you have nay info.
