I'm modifying a C-program which control a forms scanner. The program handles communcations with the scanner via BIOS calls to an assembly-language communcations driver. The problem is that the former programmer left no documentation regarding this driver. Since I believe this driver is commercical, I was wondering if any of you in Netland could identify it and tell me what calls the driver takes. The name of the program is "asynch1.com" and is 548 bytes with a date stamp of 12-05-86 1:46p. When one runs "asynch1.com" one receives the message ASYNCH1 -- Asynchronous Communcation Driver 2.00 [WLB] The driver seems to take BIOS call 0x62. Any ideas about where this driver came from? Any ideas about where I could obtain a better communcations driver? One that say returns if it receives a specify series of characters?
