Try the Copyiipc option board deluxe from Central Point Software. It will do what you want for about $70. It also comes with software to convert some programs' file formats. I've never tried to do this with the board, but it is supposed to work. _Andy Cook_

This was recently discussed, but to prevent large amounts of followups, I'll
summarize:
* no, it can't be done with basic IBM PC hardware -- the Macintosh drives
change speed depending on which track they are on and the PC hardware can't
duplicate this trick
* the Macintosh II machines, however, are capable of reading IBM PC diskettes;
use the file transfer utility or one of several PD/FreeWare programs to do
the file copying - it is possible also at the same time to do character set
translation (for special characters like c-cedillas etc.); the Mac IIx and
later machines with 1.44M drives can also read/write 1.44M PC diskettes -
others can only do 720k diskettes
* there are several special cards for the PC into which you can plug Macintosh
drives into or which control the drives in a special way to enable you to
use Mac diskettes - most notable perhaps the CopyIIPC option board DeLuxe
from Central Point Software
