This is a request for a good C compiler that will work under the
Phar-Lap DOS extender.
Well, I've just been put on a project using the NDP C compiler (under
the Phar-Lap DOS extender) and it SUCKS! Maybe it's just the linker,
but I found a call to a non-existent function -- and it linked just
fine (I haven't tried to see what happens when that thread is executed).
I've convinced the management that the compiler/linker needs to be
replaced. I'd like something ANSI compliant (at least something that
will handle prototypes properly) with mixed C/Ass'y language support.
A symbolic debugger would be really great, as well.
Any suggestions?
