[net.travel] Wanted : Route from Columbia, SC to Denver, CO

I am planning a trip from Columbia, South Carolina to Denver, Colorado.
I would like to avoid boring Interstates and steamy hot weather as much
as possible.

Any suggestions, positive or negative?
