Does anyone know any reference that covered issues on Double Bytes character searching (i.e. Chinese, Japanese, or Other Languages that require two bytes representation instead of single byte as in the case of ASCII character set) ? How does one mark a region of the double bytes character set so that some pattern matching can take place (for searchong) ? Is there any fast display mechanism that one can retrieve a set of double bytes data and display them in the PC screen ? The working environment is either Window 3.0 or PC graphic screen. Please reply if anyone knows any of the above. Thanks Kim Chong
