[comp.os.msdos.programmer] PC Jr. comm?

roy%cybrspc@cs.umn.edu (Roy M. Silvernail) (10/07/90)

I have been approached by a client to do some programming for his PC Jr.
(OK, you guys in the back row can quit laughing now... at least it's not
_mine_ :-) I'll need to drive the comm port, and the diagnostics I have
available are of little help in showing off the innards of this machine.

Can someone tell me if the com ports are driven in the same manner as a
standard XT or AT? Will a Fossil driver work on a Jr.? The current
version of the application is in BASIC, if that's any help.

E-mail preferred on this... I doubt it's of general interest. Thanks in
advance.
