This is a point of information for grkermit!dickg and Narendra Kapadia and his computer mart. Netnews is not an advertising rag. It is not filled with advertising like yours because the readers do not want to see advertising like yours clogging up the net and they don't want to pay to transmit it or to line your pockets. You may announce the fact that your service exists if you feel that it's novel and interesting to the entire USENET community, but if you post blatantly commercial garbage to the net, people like me will think that you are a money-grubbing fool who doesn't want to invest in proper advertising. I would have just mailed this to one person but I think it's important that everyone knows that I (and probably lots of others) don't want to see USENET, especially net.general, filled with advertisements.
