I have a need for information about making a hard disk read only. We have labs full of pc's and we would like to make it hard for students to change the hard disk configuration. I have had initial thoughts about writing a device driver/tsr that refuses all write commands to the hard disk but I need to make the hard disk unusable unless you boot from the hard drive.
