[comp.os.msdos.programmer] How do I use a Logitech mouse?

I've written a couple of pc games with Microsoft mouse support. 
Recently I got a letter from a user wanting the game to support 
Logitech mice too.

Could somebody supply me with sample code on how to use this kind of mouse
(is it through interrupts, reading/writing ports and how?)
