I have seen a password program for the PC which installs itself in the top line of CONFIG.SYS which calls up a program (PC LOCK?). I have unsucessfully tried to get around the program (once I even had to do a low level format to get rid of it). also it writes somthing to the harddisk so when you boot from a floppy it wont recognise the HD. It comes with a program that lets you disable the password for one reboot off a floppy. It also comes with two levels of password (one gobal). If you want more info on the program EMAIL me. Since I got a lot of mail concerning the PC-lock password program - I am thinking of posting it to the relevant BINARY newsgroup. In the readme file it permits the unregistered file to be posted to BBS. If I get enough EMAIL asking to post it I will (It will take a while to find it). cheers.
