[comp.os.msdos.programmer] Redirect printer output??

Hello everyone,

I am looking for a way to redirect output normally going to the printer, 
to  a file. For example I want the result of the command
	 COPY  foo.tex  LPT1:
to have foo.tex to be copied into some file instead of LPT1:

Is there a way of doing this from within DOS? or is there a utility that
can run on top of DOS and be used to do this (set up things so this sort
of thing can happen.)?
