Feel free to direct me to another group where this question belongs. I am trying to generate graphics output on a 386 system from a c program I've taken from a book. The program compiles perfectly but, I get no output. The book makes mention of different text and graphic modes for EGA and CGA systems. I have VGA. Do the modes mentioned still exist in common use? How do you set them from DOS? (I have version 4.01) If someone has the time to explain things to a beginner I would appreciate it.
