[comp.os.msdos.programmer] Problem with TCXL and TurboC++

greg@turbo.atl.ga.us (Greg Montgomery) (01/06/91)

I just recently started having a problem with TC++ and TCXL. I was
recompiling an old program I had written with CXL v5.2. I ran the source
code through the converter to change the function names to work with
TCXL v5.5. But the linker won't work on some of the functions. For
instance, SelStr() and cvtfc() won't work, along with about 4 others. I
did a list with tlink and the functions are in the library. Also, most
of the other functions in the TCXL work fine, such as WputFmt() and
others. I used the same library with another program that used some of
the same functions in the TCXL library, and the program linked fine.
I have no idea what is going on here. Please let me know if you have any
ideas... I'm using TurboC++ v1.01 and TCXL v5.51, large model library.

(Also a note to the people who couldn't compile the demonstration
program to TCXL due to the fact that a include file was missing, there
is a fix on Compuserve, or I can post the include file if anyone still
wants it.)
