[comp.os.msdos.programmer] Fixed Disk Drive Detection Routine Using Turbo C

I'm looking for a C routine or function that will determine the number of fixed disk drives (Hard Drives) that exist on a DOS machine.  Does such a beast exist?If so,  somebody please let me know.
