I'm thinking of writing a TSR that interecpts the BIOS serial control interrupts and does some massaging to the data. Does anybody know if the bluk of programs for MSDOS go through the BIOS or through a device driver or whether they tend to hit hardware directly. For those that hit the serial hardware directly is there any wya to trap the hardware access?
