I need some information about transferring information from a VERY old IBM Displaywriter system (with separate 8" floppy drives) to an IBM XT (first version). I would assume the data is in ASCII code, but this may not be the case, perhaps one of you know. The data is about 10 years worth of ledger work that would take an eternity to enter by hand, so I need a program to convert the files to standard IBM format. I would also appreciate information about connecting the 8"s to my XT. I haven't even bothered to look at thier connectors, but I would assume that they are fairly standard. Thanks, Bill (Wanka) ************************************************************************* C.
