[comp.os.msdos.programmer] Phar-Lap Dos extender ...

satam@jambo.ecs.umass.edu (Kirtikumar Satam) (09/10/90)

Hi!
I would appreciate some information on the Phar-Lap DOS-extender and
where it is available, for how much and what language support is
provided with it? Is there any Pascal compiler which uses the Phar-lap
DOS-ex? Is there any separate version for 386 based ATs?

Please send me personal mail instead of replying on net.

Hi there.

I am not sure if this is the right place to post this question.

Can someone who has worked with the Phar-lap Dos Extender and the
program linker give me a first hand review of the product? I am trying
to link together some 16 Object files with some 32 bit object files.
I am using Watcom C to compile the 32 bit code and the Watcom tech support
told me that Phar-lap has its own linker that can link (combine) 16 bit
with 32 bit code. Since the Extender and Linker is a relatively new product,
I am expecting some complications along the way. If you have worked with
the product, can you tell me how you like it or dislike it?

	Thanks in Advance.
