[comp.os.msdos.programmer] Looking for SIMPLE editor function for CXL library

Has anyone seen or written a simple function using the CXL
interface library to pop-up a window to input/edit a multi-line
comment field or a single file?  The function would only have 
basic editor features like cursor movement and cut & paste.

I hate reinventing what someone else has probably already done.
